It’s that time again! We didn’t run a contest last week; we thought we’d start pacing ourselves, and getting ready for the season finale and hiatus. This week, thanks to a suggestion by member Jenna, True-Blood.net asks the question, “If you could have any supernatural ability, what would it be?”

I would have to say telekinesis. The ability to move objects is pretty amazing.
I’m gonna go w/the obvious: Telepathy. I would love to know what people are thinking, especially my kids when they do something bad!!!
empathy, since vamps cant experience their own human emotions anymore
I would love to have the ability to Orb or Apparate: to be able to travel anywhere for fun or emergencies.
Orb is from Charmed and Apparate is from Harry Potter.
I would want the ability to make everyone around me to feel peaceful and happy. Much like Claudine.
Healing. I think being able to heal people/animals/plants would be a great gift to have.
I would like the ability to SPOT untoward people before actually interacting with them. Now THAT would be a superpower!
I would want to be a werewolf because as a werewolf, I would be strong and capable, though driven to fight insanely at times. As a werewolf, I would also be able to heal myself of any deep wounds, and be able to maintain relationships in a pack much like I do in my immediate family where safety, love and friendship co-exist.
To be invisible and tap into any place or time without being seen If I want.
I’d like to be able to glamour people…and animals.
When Bill attempted to glamour the girl he had to ‘make’, I thought it was very compassionate. Of course you can use it to just flat-out control people, but I think I’d be more likely to want to use it to give people peace-of-mind in stressful or traumatic circumstances.
The ability to glamour another would be a very handy super power I would think. To melt the heart of the mean spirited, to ease the minds of those that are afraid however temporary could be an amazing talent to have. You could change the courses and lives of so many by affecting those that would lead them to their own destruction.
Shape shifting is the power i would chose….the ability to turn into whatever animal you want would not only be cool but helpful….if you need to hide or listen in on someone you can turn into a small animal…..if you need strength and threat turn to a big animal…. i would turn in to a kitty most of the time so i can be petted and cuddle by people….lol
I would probly be a shifter because I have a very close bond with animals.
I would be a vampire. As it is, I am already a night person. I’ve worked the nightshift for many years and the sun does not hold an appeal to me. It would be great to glamour your way out of a rough spot or to ease a troubled mind. With great power like that of a vampire comes great responsibility as well. I believe I would be a True blood drinker, not taking from a live animal or person. Unless the person requested it, then it is a different matter altogether.
I would want the power of a phoenix… heal with my tears, fly, regenertate everytime you die… etc…
I would love to have the supernatural power to freeze time and perform a brief rewind so events could be altered before they become tragic. I would never wish to time travel and rewrite history, but to be able to snap my fingers and have instant stasis, I would be able to make minor alterations to change the outcome of a situation for the better. Of course, I would promise to be a “Good Witch” and only use my powers for the betterment of those around me, but who hasn’t wished for a “do over” from time to time?
I would have to choose the power to be invisible. You could do anything with that power. It would be very awesome.
If i could have any ability, I would want the ability to be immortal so I can see how people change over the years the good, bad and the ugly in them.
I would love to have Telepathy. To listen and reassure people. I have lots of empathy but to add telepathy to it would definitely be a super ME!
I would like to have the power of teleportation.
I would want to be able to turn into other living things (like Sam).
I would want necromancy like powers: meaning being able to communicate with the dead,siing spirits, looking into the land of the dead, controlling the dead (like zombie army at my command yay!) or to be able to bring the dead back to life… it would be ever so neat to be like an underworld demi-god the bastard daughter of Hades oh ya – yeah something like that i think would be interesting, unusual and NOT overdone -something unique
I think that having the ability to see into the future would be helpful, especially financially if you know what I mean. But I think I would prefer to have the ability to heal myself and other people. I would find that extremely useful.
Hmmm…how about the ability to absorb or copy another’s supernatural ability. Yes, I know, cheating…but why not, going supernatural..then I am going all the way with it.
If I could have any super power it would be regeneration.
Just think about how amusing it would be to throw
yourself off of a building and then walk away
to the surprise of unknowing bystandards. lol
I’d want powers over probability!!! But then have them go nuts and I’d be able to control all of reality and speed up the wait for NEW EPISODES!!
I have always wanted to be able to teleport, I hate having to travel long distances to get where I want to be.
For supernatural talent I would like to have skill to persuasion. Maybe it would work like glamour ?
I would have to say the power to heal, since you become connected with the person you heal; you will have a constant connection to the people whose life you touched.
I would like to be a shapeshifter. Maybe spend a lot of time as a bird if possible and learn to fly. That would be nice.
I would love to be able to have super speed!!! I hate being late for things!
