Don’t worry, kids, Kristin is not leaving True Blood, nor has True Blood been canceled. But, a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do, and Kristin is definitely keeping busy these days. THR is reporting, and True-Blood.net has confirmed it, that Kristin has been added to the CBS drama, House Rules.

ABC Studios’ “House Rules” is about the freshman class of Congress. Bailey, repped by Paradigm and Robert Stein Management, is in negotiations to play a hotshot Wall Street player who enters politics as a Republican congressman. Bauer (“True Blood”) will play a newly elected Democrat from California who is estranged from her husband. She is repped by the Paul Kohner Agency and Kritzer Levine Wilkins.

We’ll keep an eye and ear (four, in fact!) open for more news as it comes around.

I hope she stays with TB but if ‘House Rules’ becomes really big she probably will for career reasons. This is a great opportunity for her. I will definitely miss her when she goes.

  2. Pam says:

Just so there is no misunderstanding and rumors don’t start circulating, let me reiterate: Kristin is NOT LEAVING True Blood.

  3. Blix says:

I was hoping that Pam’s role would be expanded in season 2. I find her character very interesting and some of her lines/facial expressions are hilarious.

  4. Isis says:

I didn’t say that KB was leaving TB *now*. They’re shooting S2 now. I said she probably would next season if ‘House Rules’ takes off, because Pam is not a large role and she should definitely go where her best career options would be. No one would begruge her that. I’m happy that she’s here for S2 and will be sorry when she goes.
