The Hollywood Reporter is announcing that Stephen Moyer will be joining Robert Duvall, James Caan, Ray Stevenson and Jaime King in the futuristic thriller, Tribes of October.

“October” is set in a future in which New York has become surrounded by an endless desert plagued by heat storms, and the city’s technology is such that nothing made after 1960 works any more. In this environment, a detective (Stevenson) goes after a Mafia don (Caan) who is going after the remnants of the NYPD, led by Duvall. The detective is simultaneously searching for the love of his life (King). Moyer plays a cynical and street-smart detective.

Yeah!!!! More Stephen Moyer. As a “True Blood/Bill Compton/Stephen Moyer fan I had to see more of his work. I wanted to know if it was only his vampire character that had me so enthralled. I am happy to say that I was a ble to aquire many of his real movies, not just the ones where he is barely there (but still left his mark, 88 Minutes, Undiscovered). I have seen and recommend highly, “The Princess of Thieves”(pure Stephen, beautiful, witty fun), Restraint (intelligent with a twist), Quills (handsome, adoreable), Uprising (he gives even a movie about the Holocaust charm, he is amazing), Starter Wife (handsome, troubled, haunted, witty, we all wanted to be Debra Messing). I want more movies with Stephen. I am thrilled to hear he will be doing another movie. I will be waiting anxiously. But please for as long as is possible, you will always be truly beloved as our handome, haunted romeo, vampire Bill.
Stephen, thank you for all you have done!
