Please get your mythology straight. Diana (Roman)and Artemis (Greek) goddesses of the moon and the hunt and sister to Apollo of the sun.
Athena was born full fledged from the head of Zeus and was the especial protector of Athens -gifting the Athenians with the olive as a housewarming gift as it were.

I have been hearing a lot about "True Blood," but haven't had the opportunity to yet had the chance to check it out sounds great though! I mainly read books and lately I have had a fascination with vampire books- Twilight, and just finished reading an excellent vampire book titled, "Predatoress: Hungarian Bride" by Emma Gabor which was extremely exciting. I too always wondered about the different details (silver) surrounding werewolves and vampires- thanks for explaining it, it makes sense.

Interesting article, but you have a boo-boo. Artemis, not Athena, was associated with the moon. She is also Diana’s Greek equivalent.
