Charlaine Harris Shares Tidbits From Sookie’verse
Liz is attending a booksigning with Charlaine Harris tonight in Oak Brook, Illinois. She’s Tweeting while she’s there and has already had a few goodies to share. A full report is coming later, but these will whet your appetite:
- Charlaine is currently working on book 10;
- Bill is really, really sick from silver poisoning for a while into book 10;
- Eric’s sire makes an appearance in book 10;
- Charlaine is going to write a short story about Sookie and Pam on a road trip.

The books r so much better than the tv show, in my opinion… Also, I like Eric and Sookie’s little romance better…
well, it’s not over yet. storyline maybe needs some time to progress. AB seems to go slow and set us up.
oh I can’t wait to hear more. I’ve read all of the books more than once. I can’t wait to find out the reason for Eric’s not being there for Sookie at the end of the book(don’t want to spoil it for those who haven’t read it).

Yes he was there at the very end, but I meant why he didn’t rescue her from the fairies. Didn’t explain it very well! I felt so bad when Eric was like, “You’re killing me. You’re killing me.”
I remember now…that scene is so sad. Do you Niall is referring to Bill or Eric at the end?
I want to think it was Eric he was referring to since I’m an Eric lover but I’m not sure. Didn’t Niall always refer to Eric as “the vampire”? Yeah I’m hoping it’s Eric, although Bill made me swoon a little bit with the things he said in this book.
Me too but I am a tried and true Eric lover. Niall does refer to him as vampire and Eric was the one who brought Sookie and him together…
