News Round-Up: True Blood Ratings High, Polaris, & Bats
It’s time for another True Blood news round-up! Here are the bits and bobs floating around that you may have missed:
- True Blood hit another ratings high this week with 3.9 million viewers tuning in for the first airing of episode 204, “Shake and Fingerpop”. The fact that the ratings keep climbing is in direct contrast to the typical trend of a big premiere then declining numbers.
- Michelle Forbes (Maryann) appeared at Polaris 23 in Toronto last weekend where she answered questions about her career in general and True Blood in particular. The Televixen has coverage on her blog this week.
- While in Louisiana filming the season finale, the True Blood crew rescued a bat that fell from a tree during production.
I think Adrian Grenier would be the PERFECT Alcide. He’s got the most gorgeous eyes and hair. When I read the books, he popped into my mind. I hope they can cast him. HBO owns both True Blood and Entourage, so it shouldn’t be a big issue. Alcide is a main character in Club Dead, not the entire series. Please cast Adrian Grenier!
