A partial casting call for True Blood‘s episode 3.03 was just posted. The episode, written by Alexander Woo, will feature Caroline Compton, Bill’s wife. She’ll appear in a flashback to 1866 when she raises a shotgun on a man who she later realizes is her husband. She’s in her 20′s and described as “a lovely, very strong, brave, well-bred and well-spoken Southern woman.” Who would you cast?

    Please cast me.

  2. TIera says:

a relative newcomer. if i knew of her way back and didn’t already see her as Lorena i would have said Mariana Kleveno.

they’re pretty much awesome with casting for this show, i have no worries… no actress comes to mind for the role as of yet.

  3. Dawn says:

I would suggest Rachel McAdams. She is a beautiful classy girl and has a very natural beauty about her and could pull off being southern and sweet. She is in her 20′s…
BUT…if Rachel is busy please call ME. I’ll do it for free.

  4. Luis G. says:

I would like to see Leighton Meester Play this part.

    • Candee says:

Yeah. I like Leighton Meester. I like Rachel McAdams also. Between the two, though, I would have to pick Rachel McAdams. She’s got that old, classic, looking gorgeous.

  5. Tina says:

    Mila Kunis or Linda Cardellini

  6. Brooke Boyd says:

I think that Alyssa Milano could do this part and make it totally original!!

  7. emily d says:

I think you should go with your gut feeling I love all the ators and would glady work on the set for free (you need any teen vamps call me)

  8. Lina says:

I too like Mila Kunis or even Christina Ricci, both petite, lovely, strong actresses.

  9. readsallnight says:

I wonder why they do not use the original actress that was seen rocking the little boy? She looks perfect. Do they like the way she looks but dislike her acting?

Mmmm.. I guess they have to be careful after the results of the Ms. Wood casting.

    • Xan says:

I have to agree when i first read this i went straight to google and found a pic of the women… I think that for continuity purposes it would only make sense to recast whoever it was in the rocking chair it sounds like her character is going to have minimal screen time anyways and we dont need some hollywood or even other unknown to play an already cast roll just for shocks and ratings.

thats the pic if anyone is interested.

I think it should be a new comer or some who isn’t well known but can act very well….I don’t want TrueBlood to be flooded w/ celebrity faces

  11. TS says:

Someone new and unknown. Then there would not be any previous expectations and we could just love the character for herself.
