Happy holidays, Truebies! It’s that most wonderful time of year, when everyone frantically tries to locate The Perfect Gift for everyone on their lives. Need some help? Have no fear, Mel & Liz are here! We’ll be bringing you a series of gift guides, tailored to different types of people you may have on your list, in hopes of easing your shopping stress and making your holidays merry and bright!

The True Blood-Aholic

Do you have someone on your list who is addicted to True Blood? They’ve seen every episode 18 times, can recite dialogue and compose essays on the whys and wherefores of each character? A daunting challenge for your gift list, but we know you’re up for the challenge.

The Sookie Collection: Give the gift of a feisty waitress! Or at least some of her attitude. Obviously a red Fangtasia t-shirt is a must for butt-kicking Sookie, but we don’t advise including a gun. Instead, show her hometown spirit with a Welcome to Bon Temps mug and

The Bill Collection: Put some smoldering vampire hotness under the tree with a nice, big poster (what, you thought we were going to say something else?) then let the recipient show there love for the Southern gentleman vampire with the I Heart Bill t-shirt and Bill Compton’s coffin with charm necklace.

The Eric Collection: Who wouldn’t want some Viking vampire in their stocking? Start with a poster of the man himself, then include Eric’s pendant necklace or one of Janet Cadsawan’s True Blood-inspired pieces (we’re partial to the Erik Nordman dog tags). A Team Eric t-shirt proclaims their loyalty in no uncertain terms.

The Vampire Collection: Sure, they have True Blood memorized forwards and backwards, but how about expanding beyond the Sookie-verse? Mix in some classic vampire mythology with some new by combining Bram Stoker’s Dracula with Moonlight or Blood Ties on DVD.

The Paranormal Romance Collection: Give some romance this season with a copy of The Strangely Beautiful Tale of Miss Percy Parker bundled with Beauty and the Beast – The Complete Series on DVD. That combo will certainly keep the recipient warm this winter! (Maybe you should throw in a Snuggie, too, just for kicks.)
