Happy holidays, Truebies! It’s that most wonderful time of year, when everyone frantically tries to locate The Perfect Gift for everyone on their lives. Need some help? Have no fear, Mel & Liz are here! We’ll be bringing you a series of gift guides, tailored to different types of people you may have on your list, in hopes of easing your shopping stress and making your holidays merry and bright!

The True Blood Novice

Can you believe there are still people out there who have never met Sookie? Been smoldered at by Bill? Witnessed the hotness of Eric? Gasped upon discovering Sam’s true nature? Cheered for Tara to come out of her downward spiral? Chuckled at the wit and wisdom of Jason? Strange but true! If you have someone like that on your list, then this is the year to get them hooked on V True Blood and the world of Sookie Stackhouse.

Start at the Beginning:
Want to ease them into Sookie’s world? Give the book that started it all, Dead Until Dark. If your recipient is prone to dive in when they see a good thing, then by all means, give them the first 8 books in paperback.

Meet the Cast: Bring the books to life with True Blood: The Complete First Season on DVD. If you want to be the Ultimate Enabler, you could pre-order season 2 and give them a card noting that the rest of their gift will be coming later. (NOTE: Season 2 on DVD does not currently have a release date; we expect it some time in May 2010.)

Once you have them hooked, be sure to point them to True-Blood.net for news about season 3!
