True Blood Earns WGA Nomination

The Writers Guild of America announced their nominees for excellent writing in television and film today, and True Blood earned a nomination for episode 2.09, “I Will Rise Up.” Written by Nancy Oliver and considered by critics and fans alike to be not only the best episode of True Blood but one of the most compelling episodes of television this year, “I Will Rise Up” is definitely worth singling out.

The WGA will announce winners of the various awards in January.

    This episode was the pinacle so far, closely followed by E08 Timebomb…IMHO ;)

    I’m excited that true blood is getting so much attention, I love the series, both the books and the show. I absolutely love both I will rise up and the Timebomb episodes, such a different look at erics character for the show, plus how hot is Alex Skarsgard half naked lol :)
    Anyway, congrats True Blood team, very deserved!
