MTV has some scoop from Kevin Alejandro about his first scene as Jesus Velasquez on True Blood:
What Kevin does know about Jesus (that he can tell us) is that he’s a hospital orderly who takes care of Lafayette’s mother, played by the awesome Alfre Woodard. In fact, Kevin said his first scene on his first day of shooting was with Alfre. “I’m sitting there holding a bowl of peas, because I’m feeding her — she’s in the hospital. I’m sitting there and she’s spitting peas at me and I’m like ‘Wow, Alfre Woodard is really spitting peas at me.’”
