True Blood Minisodes Start May 2

Last month we broke the news that HBO was preparing True Blood minisodes to fill in some gaps between season 2 and 3. More information has been released, including the airdate! The six mini episodes were written by Alan Ball and will begin airing May 2, after the season 2 encore episode broadcast. So far we know that at least one involves Deborah Ann Woll’s Jessica Hamby, but who else will be showing up? Stay tuned for more news and videos as the minisodes begin to air.

According to the cable guide menu, May 2nd is just playing one of the old season 2 episodes at 8pm.
Correct. New episodes don’t begin until June 13. However, as noted above, the short “minisodes” begin airing May 2 after the encore broadcast of the season 2 episodes.
