True Blood Comic Con 2010 Details
Comic Con just released their schedule for Friday, July 23, which includes the True Blood panel. Here are the details:
5:15-6:15 True Blood Panel and Q&A session— Mixing romance, suspense, mystery, and humor, True Blood kicked off its 12-episode third season June 13 on HBO. The series, which has earned two Golden Globe nominations for Best Television Series—Drama, follows the romance between waitress Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin, Golden Globe winner for True Blood season one; Oscar-winner for The Piano), who can hear people’s thoughts, and her soulmate, 173-year-old vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer). Alan Ball (creator of the Emmy-winning HBO series Six Feet Under) created and serves as executive producer of the series, which is based on the best-selling Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris. The series also features Nelsan Ellis as Lafayette Reynolds, Sam Trammell as Sam Merlotte, Rutina Wesley as Tara Thornton, Deborah Ann Woll as Jessica Hamby, Kristin Bauer van Straten as Pam, Denis O’Hare as Russell Edgington, the Vampire King of Mississippi, and Joe Manganiello as Alcide Herveaux. Moderated by Tim Stack of Entertainment Weekly. Ballroom 20
Confirmed for this panel: Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Alan Ball, Charlaine Harris, Deborah Ann Woll, Sam Trammell, Nelsan Ellis, Kristin Bauer, Joe Manganiello and Denis O’Hare. Alexander Skarsgard is in Hawaii filming Battleship, but is trying to rework his schedule to come back to the mainland for the panel.

I know several people who scored Comic-Con tickets just to see Alexander and they are BEYOND upset that he can’t attend this fan favorite event. I guess they’ll be selling their tix on ebay any day now.
As noted above, he may be able to work out the scheduling so he can attend. Also, you can’t sell your tickets on eBay – they’re non-transferable.
Well then if Alexand cannot attend after all, and since the tix are non-transferable, that certainly does suck for those friends of mine. C’est la vie. As for me, I’ll be watching highlights of Comic-Con on the G4 channel.
It would be a bummer if someone is only going to see Skarsgard. There are so many variables when it comes to Comic Con, you always want to have a back up plan.
Any word on any signings in the dealers hall? I missed it last year, how do you find about this and get in the line to get autographs?

Advice, if gonna to panel in Ballroom 20.Get there really early. People stay in there after other panals are done and they don’t clear the room. I couldn’t get in last year. But if you don’t get in, hopefully they will have more Trueblood events on Gaslamp.
the panel is at 5:15 so how early should i be there to wait in line? i would appreciate the help
Hey all – I tried to post this once already, so apologize if it appears twice! I am planning on hanging in Ballroom 20 pretty much all day to ensure I get to see True Blood and a few others. If you are doing the same let me know, maybe we can seek each other out, it might help for seat saving for bathroom breaks! Let me know.

This is a great site. Thanks for all the info. I am going to the con to promote my projects however I would love to catch this panel before my evening meetings. Who is going to the panel in room 20 before this one? I’d gladly save seats for bathroom breaks if you can cover me.
