SPOILERS: New True Blood Character For Season 4

SpoilerTV is reporting that True Blood is casting a new series regular for season 4 named Marnie. No physical description of the character has been released yet, but supposedly this character has been taken over by a witch. While this meshes with the “year of the witch” statements we’ve heard from Alan Ball, this seems like an odd choice for a new series regular.

True Blood season 4 begins filming in Los Angeles on December 1.

Updated: Well color me embarrassed. Marnie is Hallow’s real name, making this news not so new after all. In the books, she is both a witch and a werewolf and is described as tall and slim, but broad-shouldered with short, thick, brown hair.
