Videos: Ian Somerhalder Loses on True Blood; Wins on Vampire Diaries

We’ve talked about this before, but Ian Somerhalder, after losing the part of Jason Stackhouse, actually ended up in a really great place. No one could play Damon Salvatore on The Vampire Diaries like he can. He was born for it just as Ryan Kwanten was meant to play Jason on True Blood. Ian spoke with MTV, recently, about that audition with Alan Ball.

As huge fans of ‘Diaries’ and the Salvatore brothers, I think we can honestly say, Ian, everything is as it should be.
