True Blood season 4 is approaching quickly, and the interviews are coming in thick and fast, so we’re resorting to roundups to bring you all the latest scoop:

  • Alan Ball talks to the Televisionary about season 4: “For the first time, our vampires have had their weapons taken away from them. There’s a really funny moment later in the season where they have to resort to conventional weapons because their powers are very effectively taken from them… The season may be a little touch more romantic than other seasons have been… It’s a real love story.”
  • Deborah Ann Woll opens up to the LA Times: “Even though Jessica’s still 17, time has gone by, so there’s a maturity coming about but even out of that, Jessica’s searching for something, she’s searching for herself and she’s going to make some mistakes along the way.”
  • Carrie Preston teases Ology: “[Arlene] is face to face this season with something that hasn’t yet been seen on the show, and it definitely gives everyone involved a fright.”
  • Kristin Bauer gives AOL TV the scoop: “Pam seems to be the kind of dirty fighter. A nitty-gritty fighter. You know all this ‘Matrix’ type of fighting would not be her thing. She’s very … the two words that come to mind are feral monkey. [Laughs] That would be Pam. It was interesting to see her fighting style.”
