True Blood Fashion: Sookie’s War Jacket, Fantasy Lingerie & Floral Cardigan

This week’s True Blood fashion column is all about Sookie. Normally we try to answer questions about wardrobe items from three different characters, but we’ve had so many queries about Sookie’s clothes that we’re making an exception.

Q. In the August 21st episode, Sookie wears a very seductive red dress in her dream. Where can I find this dress? It was so attractive! – Kelsey

A. The episode was still airing on the East Coast when your email came in Kelsey, and it was quickly followed by more of the same. We’re not surprised; Sookie looked amazing in her dream, didn’t she? Audrey put that look together with a combination of designer lines and customization. The bra and panties are Agent Provocateur’s Fifi set in red which she paired with Jonquil’s short ruffle lingerie robe. Audrey swapped out the belt that comes with the robe for a more luxurious matching red silk belt. Men of the world, you’re about to get very, very lucky!

Q. I would love to know who makes the sweater/sweatshirt Sookie was wearing towards the end of episode 8. You can really see it while she and Eric are sitting on the sofa talking with Bill about fighting the witches. It looks to be a shade of green or grey. I love it!  Thanks so much. – Cory

A. It’s actually a twill jacket, made by American Eagle Outfitters. When we asked Audrey about this, we mentioned that it was an awfully cute jacket to wear to a war. She agreed, telling us, “Trust me, we tried on every jacket in Los Angeles…and that was the best cute Sookie Witch War jacket.” Unfortunately the Sookie Witch War Jacket is currently unavailable in stores.

Q. Where is Sookie’s white & pink floral sropped cardigan from, in season 4, episode 3 (If You Love Me, Why Am I Dyin’)? I love it and must have it!! – Angela

A. Audrey picked up the cardigan from Forever 21, from the Heritage line, last autumn. Check consignment stores, especially near a university or high school. (Thanks to Joe Manganiello Central for the screencap for this item.)
