Win Vampire Lestat Contact Lenses and a Copy of “Real Werewives of Vampire County”

If you are getting your costume ready for Halloween and you need a little something extra for that authentic vampire look, here is your chance to enter to win a pair of the vampire Lestat contact lenses by Eyesbright. This UK-based companyshipped a pair of these to me to try out and I’m wearing them right now. They are so comfortable, and if you are okay with wearing contact lenses, these are very easy to put on and wear for a good length of time. I have worn contact lenses for more years than I’m ever going to admit to you lovely readers, and I can tell you honestly that except for a tiny  peek of color in my peripheral vision, I don’t know I’m wearing them. As you can see in the photo below, they do a great job at covering over your natural eye color. Mine are dark brown. 😉

Eyesbright has a wide variety of lenses to accessorize your eyes, from witches, werewolves and cats to demons and funky looks just to wow your friends. Are you “Twilight” fans? They’ve got the eyes you’re looking for! Do you just want something for fun? Check out their line of lenses for crazy patterns, gothic and Anime. You’ll be amazed at what you can find at Eyesbright.

In addition to the lenses, we have four (4) copies of the new anthology, The Real Werewives of Vampire County, featuring a short story from the author of Hunted by the Others, Taken by the Others and “Deceived by the Others” (look for our review Monday morning, Oct. 11), Jess Haines. Jess is another favorite of ours around here, next to Leanna Renee Hieber and Charlaine Harris. This book is due on book shelves on October 25th and for the next two weeks you can enter to win a copy for your very own. Jess is joined by Alexandra Ivy, Angie Fox and Tami Dane for this book.

“Real Werewives” puts a supernatural twist on the highly successful “Real Housewives” franchise currently on Bravo.   “Real Werewives” offers the same drama, scandel and secrets that fans love reading about.

Jess’s story is called “What’s Yours is Mine”, set in a community called Still Waters. Still Waters is like many other exclusive gated communities—except that it’s home to one of the largest werewolf packs in the state. But Tiffany Winters isn’t frightened of her big, bad new neighbors. In fact, she intends to take her place among the pack. (Watch for our review in the next couple of weeks!)

How To Enter

The Eyesbright contact lens giveaway is open to participants worldwide; however, the anthology is only open to U.S. residents only due to government restrictions on shipping. To enter, fill in the form below and hit SUBMIT.

  • Be sure to use a valid email address;
  • ONE ENTRY PER PERSON;
  • Entries must be received by 11:59PM Pacific on Thursday, October 20, 2011 to be eligible;
  • Five (5) winners will be drawn randomly from eligible entries and notified via email. The first name drawn will receive the lenses, and the next four names will receive the book.
We want to thank Eyesbright for providing the contact lenses, and Kensington Publishing Corp. for providing the books.

Over-night fan (almost literally) of the Sookie Stackhouse series since early 2008. Co-owner of True-Blood.net. Anxiously anticipating season 6.

    These contacts are great. A group of us are going to “Fangtasia” (a local pub outfitted for the night) for Halloween, I have black out lenses and one of my friends has vampire ones and they are really easy and comfortable to use.
