Alcide’s Favorite Howl-oween Movies and Songs

Alcide is hoping for a full moon on Halloween, but if he doesn’t get one, I’m thinking he’ll be home watching his favorite movies and loading up his iPod with the tunes of season. I’ve chosen five of each that are pretty good possibilities.

Movies

  1. [easyazon-link asin=”B002ZG98N2″]Priest (Rated Version)[/easyazon-link]- Starring Paul Bettany, Cam Gigandet, Maggie Q and Stephen Moyer. Apocalyptic sci-fi thriller about a war between vampires and humans. Bettany plays a Priest who goes looking for his niece who has been kidnapped by vampires that threaten to turn her into one of them. These vampires are definitely not of Charliane Harris’ creation.
  2. [easyazon-link asin=”B003Y5H556″]Red Riding Hood (Three-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo + Digital Copy)[/easyazon-link] – Starring Amanda Seyfried, Lukas Haas and Gary Oldman. This story is about a medieval village haunted by a werewolf. This should be right up Alcide’s alley, yes?
  3. [easyazon-link asin=”B004LWZW2O”]Scream 4[/easyazon-link] – Starring Courteney Cox, David Arquette and Neve Campbell, with special appearance by Anna Paquin. This movie takes place ten years after the first three and the Ghostface killer is stalking Campbell’s character once again. Alcide just shakes his head at seeing his favorite blonde waitress in trouble yet again.
  4. [easyazon-link asin=”B003Y5H5FG”]Fright Night[/easyazon-link] – Starring Anton Yelchin, Colin Farrell, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, David Tennant and Toni Collette. Because we needed another remake of this, right? Charley Brewster (Yelchin) thinks his neighbor is a vampire. I think Alcide is a little obsessed, don’t you?
  5. [easyazon-link asin=”B005GPFZEK”]Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark (Remastered, Special Edition)[/easyazon-link] – Starring Katie Holmes, Guy Pearce and Bailee Madison. Bailee plays Sally, a young girl who goes to live with her father and his new girlfriend. She discovers that the house is occupied by creatures who would like to claim her as one of their own. Isn’t that what Alcide would like to do with Sookie? Definitely obsessed.

Music

  1. [easyazon-link asin=”B00136LDQK”]Bark At The Moon[/easyazon-link] – Ozzie Osbourne
  2. [easyazon-link asin=”B004KRWQQA”]Welcome To My Nightmare (Single Version)[/easyazon-link] – Alice Cooper
  3. [easyazon-link asin=”B00136NRGE”]Animal I Have Become[/easyazon-link] – Three Days Grace
  4. [easyazon-link asin=”B002X02V0C”]Monster[/easyazon-link] – Lady Gaga
  5. [easyazon-link asin=”B001DADPMG”]Disturbia (Jody den Broeder Remix)[/easyazon-link]- Rihanna
There you have it! Alcide has revealed his plans for the night, how about you?

Over-night fan (almost literally) of the Sookie Stackhouse series since early 2008. Co-owner of True-Blood.net. Anxiously anticipating season 6.

For a song, what about Werewolves of London by Warren Zevon? And for movies, American Werewolf in London or Paris?

Thanks for your suggestions, Jacki! I didn’t include those because I did them last year and the year before. I wanted something more updated this year.
