Former True Blood villain misunderstood vampire James Frain has joined Disney’s high-profile movie reboot of The Lone Ranger, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Johnny Depp headlines as the masked man while Frain will co-star as the foreman of Chinese and Native American rail workers. The movie begins filming in about six weeks and is slated for release in May 2013.

Frain will also have a guest appearance on The Mentalist this spring.

Johnny Depp is playing Tonto, not The Lone Ranger.

I don’t care who JD plays so long as he’s JD 🙂

JD + JF in the same movie can only be good.
