Carrie Preston & Anna Camp Guest on THE GOOD WIFE

Two True Blood actresses have been popping up on The Good Wife this season, and it was so nice to see them there.

Carrie Preston is reprising her role as Elsbeth Tassioni, the rather flighty lawyer who uses others’ perceptions of her to distract them while she goes for the jugular. It’s a delightful role, and Carrie is nailing it. After helping Alicia Florrick (Juliana Margulies) out of a jam in an episode a few weeks ago, she’s now defending Will Gardner (Josh Charles) against charges of bribery. Cannot wait to see what she does to the prosecution!

Anna Camp played Sarah Newlin in season 2, and we’re hoping she shows up in season 5 now that the newly-fanged Rev. Steve has appeared on Jason’s doorstep. On The Good Wife, she’s the junior associate who Alicia’s has taken under her wing. She appeared in a few episodes during the Fall season, and is back on set working on new episodes for Spring. Her character is a little wet behind the ears, but shows promise and some surprising grit. Anna also has a recurring role on Showtime’s new series House of Lies as Greg Germann’s trophy wife, who may not be as demure as she seems.
