CASTING NEWS: Which Wolf?

The Inside True Blood blog posted a photo from a casting call…for wolves! Says Gianna Sobel:

This photo was taken by Alan Ball himself at the first official wolf meeting of the season. The trainers distracted the wolves with chicken treats while Alan and several others — producers, directors, ADs, cinematographers — looked on and discussed which wolves to cast as which characters.

I wonder if the casting director would consider Daz Crawford for Quinn

LOL When I read that I actually looked at the picture again to see if there was a tiger. LOL Not laughing at you, laughing at myself, but had to share. If they can figure a way to play it out right, I think Quinn would be a wonderful addition to the show. But if they play it wrong…. They might want to go another direction. I still have not heard any word about weather they will be casting a character to even cover his storyline.

One of the peripherial things I love about this show is how they use real animals, and they treat them so well on the show. (I mean they do behind the scenes) Wolves are such a beautiful group of animals. This show helps let the world see that. So excited to see which wolves make the cut. Although I will miss the Debbie Pelt Wolf. That was such a beautiful animal all on its own.

Does anyone know if they are using the same wolves as last year for the returning characters? Not that I would actually know the difference, but just something to keep my brain working while we wait for the show to come back.
