Well if you don’t like gore then you should probably steer clear of “The Walking Dead.” However, you’ll be missing out on a truly phenomenal show. I got used to the gore, and now I love it! Quick question, do you ladies have anymore fansites aside from this one and “Chuck”?

I’m glad you asked! We also run a site for the ABC show, “Once Upon a Time“, NiceGirlsTV.com, Build a Better Fansite, and TheFairyTaleSite.net.

I am a 48 year old mom, True Blood fan, and my 15 year old nephew made me watch Walking Dead while he was visiting for a couple days. When he first told me he wanted to watch a zombie show that I had never heard of, I thought, “ohmigod, kill me now.” But after a few episodes I realized how well done it was , and started caring about what happened to the characters. Ended up getting sucked in and became a WD fan. So… I will say it is an excellent show, and extremely well done. I can’t say that enough, how well done it is. It is the highest rated basic cable show ever, in the history of cable. That should tell you something. BUT… it is very gory and gross. My 18 year old daughter watched about 7 or 8 eps, finally had a couple nightmares and gave up on it. If you don’t want to see really gross scenes, steer clear.

AMC’s The Walking Dead is amazing. There is a lot of gore and blood in it, so if that grosses you out I wouldn’t recommend it. The first season of the show is available on Netflix for streaming and AMC does post some of the episodes on their website. On the topic of Joe Manganiello, he was absolutely terrific on White Collar! He played such a great bad guy role. I loved the scenes with him and Elizabeth.
