Michael McMillian Defines “Fang Practice”

By  |  3 Comments

Today’s post on the Inside True Blood Blog is a bit of a spoiler/confirmation. The post is an entry in the True Blood dictionary:

fang practice | faNG ˈpraktəs |

The process an actor undergoes to master speech techniques with prosthetic fangs. Typically applies to those actors playing vampires : these fangs are making me lisp. I need fang practice!

Entry by Michael McMillian (STEVE NEWLIN)

In other words, the Reverend Steve is definitely a vampire.

When I hear that, all I can think of is that funny spoof on YouTube (I searched for True Blood season 4 before it started, so see if anyone had anything new, and this came up as official trailer for it. Made by IPOOPDAILY) Where they took clips from season 3 and did voiceovers on everyone. All the vamps lisped and Eric was the best. Bill kept saying Snookie in stead of Sookie. It was great.

So does this mean his character has really been turned or is his character faking being a vampire because he thinks it will help him get into vamp territory or at least past human guards?

It’s further confirmation of what we saw in the finale: Steve Newlin is a vampire.
