Michael Raymond-James to Star in NBC Pilot

Michael Raymond-James, True Blood‘s season 1 serial killer and possible ghost Rene Lenier, has signed on as one of the leads in an NBC pilot project called Midnight Sun. The thriller centers on “the mysterious disappearance of Midnight Sun, a group living on a cult-like commune in Dugan, Alaska, and a female FBI cult specialist leading the investigation that uncovers a larger conspiracy.”  According to Collider, Mikey Ray will play an Alaskan lawyer who serves as the second-in-command of the Dugan Police.

Arlene’s former fiance and current haunting specter also recently guest starred in AMC’s smash The Walking Dead, although it seems to have been a one-off appearance. Keep your fingers crossed that Midnight Sun gets picked up for next season so we can have Mikey Ray back on our screens!
