I like to speculate what parts of the books might be used for a new season and since Patrick was the werewolf that killed Alcide’s father; I wondered after the teaser clip if he would be a werewolf. The fact that they got held hostage means that he is something, otherwise the guy would have let them go. Since all other characters have at least maintain the species, if not the traits, they were from the books I doubt he is a were-tiger; they were rare according to how Quinn was wrote. Unless they do not include Quinn, making Patrick a composite character, and Sookie falls a for Patrick (because Scott Foley is handsome).
