Catching Up with Marshall Allman in Texas

A few weeks ago in attended the inaugural ATX Television Festival  in Austin, Texas, where I had the pleasure of meeting True Blood alum Marshall Allman at a panel. He did a hilarious Q&A after a screening of the Season 4 finale of True Blood during which he talked candidly about his time working on both True Blood and FX’s Justified. He was such a great storyteller, and so funny, I was even a bigger fan after the screening. He stayed afterwards to talk to fans and take pictures (see mine below!).

Marshall was born in Austin, Texas, and moved to Hollywood after graduating high school to pursue his acting career, so this was a homecoming for him. He was excited about supporting a television festival in his hometown, and I think we can count on seeing him there in the future whenever his schedule allows.

Marshall confirmed that he won’t be making any appearances in Season 5 of True Blood, but he has a few projects in the pipeline for us to look forward to. You can catch him in the upcoming films Blue Like Jazz with Claire Holt and Jayne Mansfield’s Car with Frances O’Conner, Kevin Bacon, Robert Duvall and Billy Bob Thornton.

Although we will truly miss seeing Marshall Allman weekly on True Blood this season, we look forward to his future projects. Make sure to keep up with Marshall on twitter @marshallallman. Thanks Marshall for our lovely picture below!

I'm a social butterfly who loves True Blood! I am a correspondent for MidnightTexas.com. I love Vampires and supernatural shows. In my head Lafayette is my best friend and Alcide is my boyfriend. Ha! #TrueToTheEnd #Truebie
