this looks incredible!!!! Episode 4 went by way too fast!! the fairies took andy and jason, gaaaa. and who was that woman in black leaning over russell…. has to be salome! or she had nora do it…

    • J

      July 2, 2012 at 12:02 am

yep. I definitely think it was Nora under orders from Salome.

      • Madeleine

        July 2, 2012 at 12:49 am

Wouldn’t that be off considering that Russell wants nothing more than to kill Eric? I mean, Nora caved in twice when threatend with his execution, why admit being a Sanguinista and rat out the kid to save Eric after freeing his worst enemy?

        • J

          July 2, 2012 at 12:58 am

That’s true, I dunno I feel like Salome has some sort of hold over Nora or something….

          • Madeleine

            July 2, 2012 at 1:59 am

That’s quite possible, but wouldn’t it be more merciful to let Eric die by the i-stake instead of keeping him around long enough just so Russell can have his revenge?

          • J

            July 2, 2012 at 2:08 am

well if I let my imagination run wild….. I feel like Salome has this whole big thing planned out and Russell is part of it. Maybe Russell will indeed want revenge, but maybe that will not be the first thing on his mind. Maybe he’s just gonna start right away with carrying out his “anti-human” campaign and forget about Eric for the time being.

This is right up Alan Ball’s alley nothing is what it seems

    • Madeleine

      July 2, 2012 at 12:20 am

Hadley the little tattletale, unbelievable. What do you think? Is this fairy light something similar to glamouring?

      • J

        July 2, 2012 at 12:40 am

It’s good she did though, right? Cuz now Jason will know the truth..? Man all those fairies were kind of annoying… so intense, they don’t like vampires so why would they care if Jason knows that vampires killed his parents I wonder.

        • Madeleine

          July 2, 2012 at 12:52 am

I think that’s a lie they told Hadley, and by pretending it’s something he’s not supposed to know they can be sure he will go and tell Sookie. This might be a deceit to get her to join the ranks.

          • J

            July 2, 2012 at 12:57 am

            ahh I didn’t think about that…ugh stupid fairies 🙂

          • Gracie

            July 2, 2012 at 1:38 pm

Exactly, i think the fairies told Hadley that to get their hands on her son and on Jason and Sookie they knew Hadley was dumb enough to believe it!

How did Salome find out about Russel? Could he be her maker?

      • Alebarda

        July 2, 2012 at 8:06 am

No, she can’t be. She said she’s 2000 years old, Russell was around already when she was made. Anyway, awesome promo, can’t wait to see the reunion between Sookie, Bill and Eric!

        • Bryan

          July 2, 2012 at 9:27 am

Andrea was saying that Russell could be Salome’s maker (which means Russell turend Salome into a Vampire). So yes Andrea that is a possibility but I don’t think it will be true. The promo made it seem like Bill might have been the one who spilled the beans about Russell to someone else…I’m curious to find out who killed the shifters.

Maybe it´s the crazy irak guy who killed the shifters ? i´m curious to find out to ! Lafaette also seem pretty chaken to , wonder what he will do to get controle over him self . Now when he seem to have that witch power .

Could Salome be Russels maker??? Can’t wait to find out?

          • Bryan

            July 3, 2012 at 12:23 pm

No, Salome could not be Russell’s maker. Russell is 3,000 years old and Salome is 2,000.

          • Schirka

            July 5, 2012 at 1:22 pm

Hi Bryan I thought so too, “The promo made it seem like Bill might have been the one who spilled the beans about Russell to someone else” with what Bill said to Eric “You couldn’t keep your mouth shut now she’s using Russell against us” but he may be referring to Eric telling the authority (or Salome because he said ‘her’) about Russell.

If Eric hadn’t told Salome about Russell she wouldn’t be able to control them, but they would be death anyway. With AB you never know, nothing is really what it seams… so exiting!! is it Sunday yet??

Was that Jesus’ head on Ruby Jean’s night stand? And were the eyes animated? WTH!??!

    • J

      July 2, 2012 at 12:03 am

I saw that too! so creepy!!

      • Madeleine

        July 2, 2012 at 8:49 am

Did I see that right : was Jesus’ mouth stitched shut? A warning to keep quiet? But from whom?

This is going to be a good episode. Salome reminds me of Eric, never know if they good being bad or bad pretending to be good. I can’t wait to see Bill being an ass to Sookie, it will totally clear the way for Alcide or Eric. Pam is going to be a great maker.

    • J

      July 2, 2012 at 1:51 am

“Pam is going to be a great maker”

I think so too!! I think she will take everything eric said to heart and take her “job” very seriously. I think she and Tara are gonna end up getting along quite well 🙂

  4. Madeleine

    July 2, 2012 at 2:23 am

@J : it’s quite possible Salome has a master plan, but I doubt Russell will forget about Eric or delay his revenge, that would give Eric time for counter-measures, and I also doubt Salome can influence Russell so much he would let go of his desire to make Eric pay, or drain Sookie for that matter. Russell has a whole pack at his command, he can take care of multiple things simultaneously.

    • J

      July 2, 2012 at 2:50 am

Sigh, you’re probably right Madeleine, it sounded so intense and dramatic in my head though, LOL

I think Russell will have to bargin with the athority , remember seen Russell in captivity of the athority or Bill / Eric . Bet the athoritys taktic change that will come in the midle of the season might have to do with Russell escape probebly with a little help from someone .Maybe the offer Bill / Eric got before they were alowed to leve will save there lives ? Or Bill / Eric make a deal with Russell that will save / help them with the athority ? Well cant wait to see what will hapend !

I loved that episode. I hope sookie and eric work things out and come together. Bill is so boring. I also agree that Pam will be a great maker. I am so over fairies.

    • Madeleine

      July 2, 2012 at 5:58 am

If there’s any sense left in that gorgeous Viking he will stay the h*** away from Sookie! Have you heard what Tara said to Bill? And she’s supposed to be Sookie’s best friend ….
And honestly, I didn’t buy the “I can’t choose between you two, so I’m leaving both of you” speech. Deep down Sookie’s still hung up on Bill, she might not even realize it, but at the Dorchester she made a choice, if only subconscious, to save Bill. Without knowing what she might cause, she has no real knowledge about her abilities and could not foresee what would happen.
I know a lot of people like Sookie and Eric as a pair, but considering all that happened I don’t see any sense in a second trial. Plus, she already has a new someone to fool around with.

      • esw45

        July 2, 2012 at 12:02 pm

I disagree with you but eric still loves her and alcide will not last it will end this season and it will come back to Eric and Bill ….you may be right about her loving Bill even though he lied and manipulated her to get together…..I would still even if Bill is end game on TB get with Real Eric see what happens because Eric has nothing left Pam and him are seperate and their relationship will never be the same again…..he has only been in love once in his life whether he should deal with Sookie again or not that really is who he wants even still today….he just won’t ever come to her and let her know that again

        • Madeleine

          July 2, 2012 at 12:24 pm

          “but eric still loves her”
I totally agree. That doesn’t mean he will give into this feeling or it would be wise to do so.

          • Madeleine

            July 2, 2012 at 12:26 pm

Sorry, I forgot : sense in one thing, feelings are something different. In some cases it might be better to let your head rule and not your heart.

          • esw45

            July 2, 2012 at 12:36 pm

Yes it would most of the time …..but in real life people don’t let their head rule them …..we have seen even though Eric tries to hide it he has a capacity to love deeply…..sookie gives me as someone that loves attention …..just maybe a little too much

      • Kurenai

        July 2, 2012 at 2:11 pm

Tara just took a bullet for Sookie as her best friend and she was repaid by being turned a vampire, if Tara wants to spout words in her moment of anger/resentment then she’s allowed to.

And before people say Tara didn’t have to take a bullet for Sookie, Tara taking the bullet was instinctual, Tara has spent her childhood with Lala, Grams, Sookie, and Jason …Sookie is like family to her. She instinctively took a bullet for her family.

        • Mel

          July 2, 2012 at 2:14 pm

Agreed on all counts. I do, however, think people (including Sookie) should quit blaming Sookie for things that aren’t her fault. She didn’t ask Tara to jump in front of the bullet, and she had just moments to either support or oppose Lafayette’s request to Pam. Like Tara, she instinctively tried to save/protect Tara. They’re dealing with the consequences, but I hope once their anger, shock, grief, and guilt wear off, they’ll be able to see that both actions were performed out of love.

          • Madeleine

            July 2, 2012 at 2:41 pm

At this point no one is without guilt or reason to be angry, it’s how you deal with it that makes the difference. Everybody made mistakes, bad choices etc, so technically and without any judging every person has to accept being at least partly responsible.
Constantly handing out a free pass by saying “but X had reason, X had it bad” is a bit too indulging (just my opinion and not restricted to Tara) because it would lead to a spiral of anger, hate, retaliation and so on.
Some people take this responsibility and try to do right, others have to blow off steam first, I understand people how have to get it out but I still like those who have a little more control over themselves better.
Being turned into the thing you hate most certainly is very extreme, but if a person is constantly lauded as smart and strong and whatever I somehow expect her to at least give her cousin a chance to explain. I have high hopes that is still to come, and maybe Tara will even see how extreme and traumatic the situation was for Sookie and Lafayette, who just couldn’t bear to see her die.
She still has a lot to learn, I think, her anger got her nowhere and she’s only hurting herself. I hope she will realize that. What she makes of it if she does is yet another question.

          • Mel

            July 2, 2012 at 9:06 pm

She’s already a lot less antagonistic than she was as a human after just 3 days. Now that Pam is committed to guiding her, to helping her realize that “humans can’t hurt you anymore”, I think Tara will finally lose the fear that fueled so much of her anger and self-destructive tendencies to become the strong woman I know she is.

        Well put Madeleine!

      • Mexton

        July 4, 2012 at 11:03 pm

I disagree Sookie didn’t start getting confused until Bill gave her more of his blood after she got shot at the cemetery. Although she didn’t jump back in the bed with him the blood heightened the friendship she felt and brought back old memories what she perceived was love, remembershe really do believe what they had was love. I read the fanfiction because of the fun and adventure it brings to Sookie and Eric’s life. Their relationship has been put to the test by vampire politics wait til Alcide has to step up and take his place as pack master Sookie will soon see that her life in the supe world is no different in real life for example, wives whose husband is in the military, police officers, firemen, theirs danger in any aspect of a man’s life of profession. I hope she grows up soon.

S5E4 was intense. I had to watch it 3 times to figure everything out. Sookie was so adorkable drunk. Can’t wait until S5E5 to see the Bill/Sookie/Eric reunion. I hope Jason and Andy will be OK.

    • Gracie

      July 2, 2012 at 1:45 pm

I just pray to god Sookie was not stupid enough or drunk enoght to screw Alcide cuz that would be a huge mistake enough! The promo doesn’t give me much hope though they’re in her room half naked. 🙁

      • esw45

        July 2, 2012 at 4:25 pm

Hi Gracie, I don’t like sookie with Alcide but its a rebound situation she is not in love with him and if she was not drunk she wouldn’t probably have done what they are doing now….I don’t believe it will last past episode 9 this season. Eric did a rebound thing with Nora….he cares about Nora but he doesn’t love her and Bill did a survival thing with Salome

        • Mel

          July 2, 2012 at 4:55 pm

Eric does love Nora, deeply. And he also slept with Salome.

          • esw45

            July 2, 2012 at 6:39 pm

Yeah he loves Nora but not like he loves Sookie and slept with Salome because of survival situation like Bill does…..the curious part will be if and when Nora finds out he loves a part human part fairy woman and Sookie finds out about Nora ……they are all single but their reactions to one another might be interesting?

        • Gracie

          July 4, 2012 at 7:51 pm

Thank you made me feel somewhat better about that situation! : ) let’s hope if they do have sex they use protection!

  7. mel

    July 2, 2012 at 3:01 pm

I think Pam is going to be the one that freed Russell. Did you hear how she talked to Tara?

    • Madeleine

      July 2, 2012 at 3:07 pm

I can’t imagine that, to what end? No, Pam couldn’t betray Eric that way. There’s no need for her to hunt down (or farm) humans, she’s got plenty of volunteers, that she prefers the real deal over that bottled stuff doesn’t make her a Sanguinista or a traitor.

    • Liz

      July 2, 2012 at 3:13 pm

I don’t believe Pam would betray Eric that way. I believe she is instructing and encouraging Tara the same way Eric did with her when he turned her. Pam is clearly embracing the responsibility of ‘maker’.

    • Felicia

      July 3, 2012 at 8:09 pm

I have to agree! That’s what I’ve been thinking! But I hope I’m wrong!

  8. Michele

    July 2, 2012 at 3:20 pm

Loved this episode. I’m wondering if the fairies are using that “Vampires” killed Sookie’s mom and dad as a cover up, cause in the books it was water fairies that had killed them, and the shootings that are going on, I’m wondering if it makes Sam’s shifter secret come out.

    • J

      July 2, 2012 at 8:29 pm

@ Michele Oh totally! The fairies are sneaky little devils. I think they made the whole thing up to get Jason and Sookie to go against vampires.

  9. GeeGee

    July 2, 2012 at 3:28 pm

It looks like Hoyt is the reason Tara and Jessica will be at each others throats, at least that is what I am thinking. LOL. So looking forward to episode five.

    • J

      July 2, 2012 at 8:30 pm

Right! Oh gosh I’m so excited for that part. There are some great spoiler pics of that part and some of Hoyt going absolutely mental lol

  10. TrueLove

    July 2, 2012 at 7:50 pm

I agree with Mel about Pam. I think the only reason the writers would even think of Eric releasing Pam is because she wouldn’t be much of a threat to him if he could simply order her to stop doing something or tell him something (if he asked the right question). And she was quite calculating in her goal to become a vamp. That was her main goal (vs being with Eric). She even told him he could turn her and leave her. I know she has love for him but when he put sookie above her I think that could have pushed her over the edge

    • Mexton

      July 3, 2012 at 9:02 pm

I don’t think it was Eric choosing Sookie over her I think it’s more he put Sookie before himself

  11. Art

    July 3, 2012 at 4:02 pm

Tara has a right to be mad at sookie and Lafayette. But, I wish she would see things from their perspective and drop some of the anger. They had no choice. She was going to dead or already dead. Turning her into a vampire was their only option. I hope Tara forgives them both before the last show. I want to see how Tara interacts as vampire with those two.

Pam and Tara are the highlight of this season for me. They are both snarky and out spoken. Pam needed a “child”. She was too consumed with Eric and his affairs.

Please TrueBlood never go back to Sookie and Eric. They were not good as a couple.

Terry stuff is boring, but I can deal with it.

Wish they will give Lafayette something to do. He needs to grieve Jesus and move on. Bring back the V selling old Lala.

Same goes for Sam. Give him a purpose. I say hook Sam and Tara back up.

Finally, I would love for Bill and Sookie to reunite on the final show of the season. That would be awesome.

Art Bill is such a prude at least she had fun with Eric

      • Art

        July 6, 2012 at 1:06 pm

I disagree guys. Sookie and Eric were a big let down in season 4. Bill and Sookie have amazing chemistry. I never want to see Eric and Sookie again as a couple.

    • esw45

      July 4, 2012 at 8:20 pm

Art we never saw real eric and Sookie as a couple ……i believe they would be fun to,watch …….Bill loved sookie but the relationship was based on lies

  12. Tara

    July 3, 2012 at 5:04 pm

I don’t think Pam had anything to do with digging up Russell. She would never hurt Eric. The writers had him release her because it made for good writing — a lovely and touching scence. Also, it was time for her to be released.

I think the person who overheard is ginger! I think she might have known about Russell

    • Mel

      July 4, 2012 at 10:05 am

Hey now, that’s an interesting speculation. I could easily see Ginger overhearing a discussion about Russell at some point during the 13 or so months since he was buried, then accidentally letting the information slip to another vampire at Fangtasia. I don’t think anyone would say Ginger’s brain is a “steel trap” at this point!

    July 4, 2012 at 9:52 am

Russell being freed has a greater purpose to the the plot than Pam being upset about Eric. I’m sure it is related to someone in the Authority, probably Salome. I’m loving this character and think she’s truly behind the rebellion. Agree that Pam and Tara are the best thing this season thus far. I loved Pam’s “I’ll say it…”
