POLL: Who the heck is Worlow?

By  |  50 Comments

We finally have a name and semi-face of the vampire who killed Sookie and Jason’s parents all those years ago. Who is this Worlow character?

LOL at Freddy Krueger, though he did sort of look like him.

I thought it was Bill or Eric but the vampire said your mine (she has been Bill’s and Eric’s already) and Russell is not into hiding himself. So am figuring its a vamp we know but hasn’t been spotlighted.

i think it was eric she never actually agreed to be his

    i think its a vamp-fairy.

I agree. He did somewhat look like one of the fairies without their human facade. Plus the fact that Sookie made the connection.

I don’t want them to change it that drastically from the books. I want it to stay the same as the books.

If it’s a vampire we’ve met then I really think it will be Bill. 1)Bill has ties to the area 2)When Franklin Mott was digging through Bill’s papers, there was the geneology with names circled. 3)Claudette warning Sookie about “him”

      Sounds about right

hum…that warning…i forgot about it. Might be a coincidence but its a good catch!

If it was Bill then why didn’t he recognize Claudine? Claudine didn’t recognize him either, and since she knew the name …… And why didn’t Bill go after Sookie immediately? Why did he have to look into Sookie’s genealogy at all?
I don’t think it was Bill or Russell, I’m still not certain it was a Vampire at all. First of all as Claude says faeries cannot connect to Vampires, so it could be another magical creature, who says Vampires are the only beings with fangs and a taste for blood?
And where is this Worlow now? Still roaming in the real world? If he’s at large why didn’t Claudine take Sookie to faery to protect her?

        July 30, 2012 at 8:20 am

LOL! Well, you’ve told us all who who DON’T think it is, but who DO you think it is Madeleine?

Hmm, I’m hung up on the books, I can’t get the description of faeries sharpening their teeth out of my head. My best guess is it’s a faerie, pure and simply, an enemy of Claude’s father/grandfather who was banned for his action and now sees a way to escape because he sensed Sookie’s presence.
This connection works both ways I assume, might have been a wake-up call wich may start the war between the different factions, prologue for season 6, probably?

I think it’s a new supe or a mix of Vamp/Faery-since Sookie shouldn’t have been able to become him in the reliving of the events.

        • Bryan

          July 31, 2012 at 9:09 am

I don’t remeber them saying they couldn’t connect with vampires, I thought he said they shouldn’t. If this “Vampire” were some part fairy why would he be so drwan to the fairy blood like he had never smelled it before? Even though Claudette clearly knew him, and she is “Pure Fairy” so that would make her blood even better than Sookies. Doesn’t make sense at all yet to me.

It wouldn’t make sense for it to be Russell. Russell was amazed at the existence of faeries when Sookie’s origins were proven to him, and this Morlow had an acquaintanceship with Claudine. Likewise, Claudine did not recognize Bill upon first meeting him. These two are pretty much nixed from the suspect list as far as I’m concerned.

It looked to me like this Worlow emitted the same red dust that “Lilith” did as he appeared in the bathroom, so I’m guessing there’s a connection. Also, he seems to be either a ghost or able to astral project. Lilith herself seemed to either not have form or reside in another dimension before the authority & co called her forth. Perhaps Morlow is in the same situation. My guess is that the faeries trapped the most powerful/dangerous vampires, or at least just these two, in another dimension – just as they did to their human-hybrid descendants.

Alas, who is coming for Sookie and how is she “his” (Morlow’s)?

I am calling it now, the vampire that killed Sookie’s parents is Godric known by some other name. Also, the leader of the people killing the supernaturals is definitely Hoyt’s mother.

    • Kenneth

      July 30, 2012 at 8:51 am

I still think Sweetie is responsible for the shootings. We met her in the last episode, the woman who was sleeping with Bud Dearborn when Andy visited. Luna’s description matched hers, and I don’t think Hoyt’s mother smokes Menthols.

      August 3, 2012 at 4:24 am

Godric really? Because the vamp seem way to tall to be Godric.

I think it’s a vamp we already know, just not sure which one though! Maybe the reason Sookie could connect with the vampire is because she’s had his blood?

hello, according to the book the killer of sookies parents is a fairy. He is a fairy taht is against the whole idea of fairies mixing with humans and belive it is the reason there population is diminisioning. also it was also announced in the book that if a fairy drinks to much vampire blood that fairy will start getting vampire like appearence and characteristics

What about the whole “bad faeries” arc from the books? They had sharpened teeth if I recall correctly, and they were the ones who killed the Stackhouse parents.

      July 30, 2012 at 10:05 am

I was thinking a fae killing halflings but his/Sookie’s face smelling too yummy to be anything but vampire. Reminded me of Russell. Anyone know why episode 11 title changed from Song of the Dead Fairy?

      • Tom

        July 30, 2012 at 4:13 pm

As someone mentioned earlier, the bad faeries can be half vampire, in some aspects.

  12. Michael

    July 30, 2012 at 10:42 am

There is no Worlow. Claudine said “Waldo”, as in the disfigured vampire Waldo in the books who killed Hadley due to his jealousy over her relationship with Sophie-Anne. If I remember correctly he was also into voo doo magic.

    • Emily

      July 30, 2012 at 6:59 pm

According to my close captioning she said Warlow, but who knows.

I dunno, I suspect the show may go the route of making the killer of Sookie’s parents that very scarred vampire who is with the Authority…or did my non-HD TV just make him look really scary scarry?

    • Tom

      July 30, 2012 at 11:32 am

I don’t think so. Nigel isn’t supposed to be a big character. He only eats babies :)

      • Mel

        July 30, 2012 at 12:21 pm

That was so creepy. Ugh, vampires!

      • EricsMoll

        August 2, 2012 at 2:44 pm

I’m HOPING they go the way of the books, n Sookie’s parents were killed by a Anti-Niall Fairy Faction member…… but if they are headed another direction, I’d lean towards Nigel. I know he eats babies, but, at that time Sookie would have been Very young, and the smell of Fae was probably very strong on her….. To Nigel, she would have been an Extra Yummy smelling baby.

        As stated by many:
Russell- didn’t know fairies were still out there
Bill- would have figured that out LONG ago
Eric- same as Bill… they BOTH have had her blood

*** could also be the beginnings of the Fae War…. a set-up to next season

    July 30, 2012 at 2:42 pm

I don’t think it is a fairy. If it was a fairy, they wouldn’t kill the parents, then show them looking at the bandaid and saying “it smells so good”. I think it is a vampire.

I think it is Russell. He may have had contact with Claudine very briefly, but when he met sookie, he prob realized that what he experienced that night was the same as Sookie.

The only reason that the creature in the bridge stopped (and killed) the parents was because of what he smelled.

Sookie prob bonded with the vampire because she is just that…special.

    • Liz

      July 30, 2012 at 2:47 pm

Remember, Sookie saw this creature’s image in her bathroom. Vampires don’t have that kind of power. And Russell being the killer of the Stackhouse’s doesn’t make any sense.

Its a goblin, like a fairy and a vampire. fairys are the ancient ones so i think the lilith idea is she was a fairy and that kind started first she then did something bad god turned her into vampire then created humans, mad over this she began to feed on them and turn them into vampires, the fairys tried to stop this but were chased away, fairys turned by a vampire become goblins. Maybe.

Maybe some kind or Fae/Vamp hybrid

Idk, at this rate you just cant tell. I mean I dont want it to be true but it Allen’s show and he can do what ever he wants. Vamp/fairy? hmmm….that sounds interesting…hmmm?

he could well be unseelie. perhaps a redcap?

  19. Kim

    July 31, 2012 at 8:23 am

I think Sookie connected because she has had so much vampire blood… and perhaps the blood of the killer. So my guess would be Bill or Eric.

  20. Bryan

    July 31, 2012 at 9:46 am

I think Warlow will be a whole new vampire. I alos think the first image we got of him was strange. It wasn’t your typical True Blood Vampire it was more a demon style vampire not a beautiful one like we are used to. Like I said earlier it just doesn’t make sense why he was so drawn to Sookies blood if he already knew Cluadine (I think I may be getting my Cluades mixed up, there are too many of them lol) because she is full fairy. I’m really hoping Bill or Eric come back to try and save Sookie because I really miss all three of their dynamics…Also can I say I love that Eric is more enlightened than everyone else because Godric taught him well. I hope Eric can bring Bill around and get him to realize what is heppening is wrong.

If you read the books, there are sky fairies and water fairies. Sookie’s parents are killed by a psycho water fairy if memory serves. The crazy fairies in the books have sharp teeth. Sookie can’t connect with vamps.

Her father carried the Fae gene, so once he died, I imagine she shifted to the other fae’s perspective. She also has a crazy half-fairy relative in the book.

    It’s not a vampire, I promise.

    • johnnydr

      August 1, 2012 at 9:35 pm

and Sookie is a Sky fairy!

There is a feud between the different factions of fairies

      • Mel

        August 2, 2012 at 12:19 am

In the books, yes, but not necessarily on the TV series.

  22. Deb

    August 1, 2012 at 11:40 pm

I think it’s a fairy who has drank to much vampire blood and resembles Jason. His twin. And the fat women Luna smelled was Mrs. Fortenberry. She’s the leader of the group killing sups

  23. Lid

    August 3, 2012 at 10:52 am

Maybe it was an elf. Didn’t the books have a war between the fae that involved some elves and demons? And it was two elves who kidnapped Sook when Niall and Bill saved her. Yep, I’m going with elf.

    August 3, 2012 at 11:30 pm

Totally thought Freddie Krueger immediately. Then I though Mr. Baby eater because Sookie was a kid. Then I realized it was just Tinker Bell either in witness protection, or with one of those throat vibrators due to throat cancer cause smoking was kool back in the day. Oh Yea! Nailed it!

well, Eric Northman doesn’t sound like a really old name , we should check the chatter between Godric & Eric see we here his first name, Is the reason she bonded with this Vamp because she is connected with him now (the bed in the snow)?

Worlow is a old fairy relative of sookie turned into a vampire possibly a great fairy grandfather.

  28. Atlas

I believe Warlow is a day walker and addicted to it, he will be unique, and he maintains his powers by drinking fairy blood.
