“Reeling” is the only way to put it. I feel like I’ve been repeatedly smacked over the head after watching that. It just kept coming!
Mel, I was surprised that you held onto your belief so long that Bill had retained his humanity and not become a true believer of Lilith. I will admit to being a suspicious for some time, but when he delivered that slap to Jessica that sent her hurtling across the room, I knew that he had truly drunk the “Lilith Kool-aide”.
It was an amazing, jaw-dropping finale!
Mostly I was holding on to a belief that the writers were being purposeful with the subtleties, but now…well, I’ll be watching this season again with new eyes!
