Robert Patrick Promoted to Regular for True Blood Season 6

Robert Patrick Promoted to Regular for True Blood Season 6

Sounds like we’ll be spending more time with the Herveaux family in True Blood season 6: Deadline reports that Robert Patrick, aka Jackson Herveaux, had been promoted to series regular status for next season.

Patrick appeared in three episodes of True Blood season 5, but his status was up in the air after he ABC cast him as a lead in their military drama Last Resort. The network opted not to order any further episodes and have released Patrick so he can return to True Blood.

  1. That’s good news. I’m glad they didn’t casts any more characters. I hope werewolf storyline would better this season. :-) I was really disappointant last two season. Because last season had nothing to do w/ werewolf Tournment & they didn’t get involved w/ witch war in season 4. :-(

    • Were we watching the same show? Season 4 was almost all about the witch war and in season 5 Alcide did ultimately fight for the role of Packmaster. Those storylines didn’t follow the books exactly, but we did see them.

  2. While I’m sorry that “Last Resort” is ending, I’m really happy that Robert can join the cast for this next season. He’s a wonderful actor and I was hoping that we’d get more of him last season. Now we can see more of him this season! Woohoo!

  3. Does he have one blue eye and one brown eye?

  4. This is good news indeed. RP did a great job as Jackson Herveaux. It will be exciting to see Alcide involved in a family dynamic.

  5. Yeah!!!!I’m still hoping for a tie in for were’s/and or/shifters along the lines of the books….
