I must agree with “I wish I was the Moon”. Nothing like Eric escaping the true death to hook it up with Sookie.

I love the way the mellow jazzy tune plays into the scene of Sookie’s dream about Bill and Eric in Season four episode nine, it just makes the mood.

This is a tough one but I do love when “I wish I was the moon” plays. The song when Sookie and Eric make love is a perfect fit because their love is tender and sweet, making it feel like that special love that makes you soar as high as the moon.

I loved the scenes with Eric and Sookie in his cubbie hole at what used to be Gran’s house. If You Love Me Why Am I Dying played. Also Me and the Devil.

I personally love when Taylor Swift’s Haunted plays when Jessica and Jason hook up for the first time in the back of Jason’s truck. I thought that song was perfect for that moment.

When Jessica is newly made she is left alone and she goes off to Merlotte’s where she meets Hoyt for the 1st time. The song “Sex and Candy” is playing in the background and the way everyone is looking at her is cool because she doesn’t know how to react about it. Obviously Hoyt looked the most sweet so she sat across from him. I always loved that scene where he says it’s cool that she’s a vampire when she orders True Blood.

End credit song Season 5 Episode 5“Let’s Boot and Rally” by Iggy Pop and Bethany Cosentino.

Also love ‘Cherry Bomb, when Jessica and friends perform via Guitar Hero at the mansion when Bill is gone.
    Season 5, Episode.

My favorite musical moment was during Sookie and Amnesia Eric’s kiss on her porch after she calls him back to her in S4. I think it was the Sookie and Eric theme music enhanced with the kitchen sink. lol

A difficult decision to pick just one scene, as there are many. One of the first scenes that really stood out to me was when the song “Half of You” is playing and Sookie finally gives in to her temptations and gives herself to Bill. A lot of emotion is shown during this song between Bil and Sookie, Tara and Lettie Mae, and Jason while he is in bed with Randy Sue. One of my favorite scenes in the show.

The scene where Lorena, Russell, and Bill all feed on a stripper in the back of a limo and 9 Crimes by Damien Rice plays. It was haunting and it fit the scene so perfectly.

I love it when they play “Silly Love Songs” by Paul McCartney on the radio. When Bill and Eric are being escorted to the authority headquarters. LOL, I love the look Nora gives the driver.. priceless!

In the second season, I loved when Jessica goes to Merlotte’s and “Sex and Candy” plays. I never had an opinion on that song until that scene and then I just loved it.

I, too, agree with Lisa and Shaya. The scene(s) playing during “I Wish I Was the Moon” make that very memorable and moving music.

I also really liked the scene(s) surrounding “Let’s Boot and Rally”. That is just so Sookie! Through and through!

I have to say it was a toss up between Spellbound by Siouxsie and the Banshees or Spoonful by Howlin’ Wolf. ALWAYS loved those tunes and now they’re on my favorite shows soundtrack! Too much awesome right there!!

I pretty much love all the music on True Blood. Every time a new soundtrack comes out it pretty much goes on repeat for a ridiculous amount of time. I would have to say one of my favorite songs is Dig by HeadBone but I don’t remember when that was actually on the show.

In the first episode of Season 5, when Bill and Eric are in the trunk and you can hear “Silly Love Songs” Its ironic and perfect. Best way to start off the bromance of season 5!

Iggy Pop and Bethany Costentino – “Let’s Boot and Rally”….When Sookie, Bill, Eric, and Alcide are bickering…Sookie is trying to get over her hangover….and Says..”it must be Tuesday” …..alright…”let’s boot and rally” come on….it made me laugh…about getting and finding Russell……:)

I loved the Massive Attack song “Paradise Circus” that was playing in season 3 when Bill was procuring the stripper for Russell Edgington. Really haunting, and conveyed perfectly the hopelessness of that moment, both for the poor girl and for Bill being trapped so far away from Sookie and being made to do things he’d fought so hard against for so long.

I love all the songs each episode has ended with (season 1-4), they all were carefully chosen & are as relevant as the episode titles, but my favorite, if I HAD to choose … HAS to be Jace Everett’s opening song “Bad Things” … it never fails to deliver the mood, and when you hear that song, you KNOW something’s about to go down !!!!! VvvV

OMG the Music in every single episode episode of every season of True Blood rocks. “Bad things” is still a great way to start off the show after all these seasons. “Shake and finger pop” was fun. the one that stands out the most especially after re-watching season 5 was “the Authority Always Wins” I liked the new updates version for True Blood.

Ya know, the irony of the songs and their placement is a treat within itself. I’ve had to get all the CD’s for that reason alone! I get flashes of the show when I listen, so they are forever linked in my mind…I get to relive the moment even when I can’t watch them outright.
