Go inside “Dead Meat” with director Michael Lehmann and showrunner Brian Buckner as they talk about a sure to be iconic fight scene, Anna’s amazing work as Sookie, the significance of what happened earlier this season on Sookie’s decision, Bill’s treatment of Sookie, Sookie going to Sam, and Eric going rogue.

Wow. I don’t know about anyone else, but this episode will take a few days and multiple times watching it to understand and absorb it all.

I watched it twice already and I’m glad I saw a glimmer of the old Sookie mixed with the new. I can live with this Sookie never take things at face value. I’m also glad that she is beginning to revisit her accounts of Warlow when he isn’t Ben. I’m happy that Sookie is finally seeing Bill without the rose colored glasses on and the writers are allowing them to finally end civilly. I don’t know why she would proposition Sam especially when she saw he was with someone else. I don’t know what to think about her scene with Warlow, he wasn’t gentle when he fed from her wrist and didn’t offer to heal the marks either. The interaction didn’t show love only the act of wanting to possess. I was happy Sookie finally asked about Niall, learned her brother went to save Jessica, and Eric went back to the camp to try and save the vampires. I hope she finds out about the fairies in the meadow and where Warlow sent Niall. It would surprise me if Sookie chooses her destiny without a fight and it didn’t surprise me that Bill didn’t care about Warlow’s plans for her because that would mean he has two fairy/vampire hybrids blood on tap. If the show does,to that route with Sookie being turned I hope she picks the lesser of two evils and she chooses Eric to do it.

Wow..i guess i need to watch this episode a third time and even more closely. You guys said it gives you hope for Eric and Sookie? Ok, i like that thought but missed that! ..lol So im guessing this is only a senerio that hopeful Sookie/Eric lovers have put together since Bill is out the way and there is SOMEthiNG about this wARLOW guy? idk.. I liked this ep with the exception of Sookie and Sam…wtf..why would she do that..it just did not seem to fit at all…. #desperatesookie?
