True Blood producers have given Tara Buck an early birthday present: a promotion to series regular for the show’s final season. (Tara’s birthday is March 16.)

According to Deadline, Tara will be a regular for True Blood season seven. Her character, Ginger, was introduced in the latter half of season 1 and recurred in every season since, quickly becoming a fan favorite. Congratulations, Tara!
