Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer Team Up for New TV Series

I’m working on a True Blood alumni cast roundup, but this news deserves its own post: Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer have a new television project in the works!

According to Deadline, Anna has signed on to star in and co-produce Flack, a comedic-drama series for Pop TV in the US and UKTV in the UK. Stephen will also co-produce under the couple’s production company, CASM.

In the six-episode series, Anna will play Robyn, a quick-witted London-based U.S. publicity maven whose job it is to put out media fires and manage high-profile and exacting clients. However, while Robyn is an expert at her craft she’s a complete self-saboteur when it comes to her personal life.

Peter Cattaneo, Oscar-nominated for 1997 smash The Full Monty and more recently director of BBC TV comedy Rev will serve as the series’ director. The series films this spring in the UK with an expected 2019 premiere.
