Exclusive: Interview with Lisbeth Scott and Nathan Barr

True-Blood.net had the opportunity to chat on the phone with singer/songwriter Lisbeth Scott and True Blood’s music composer, Nathan Barr yesterday. Lisbeth’s song, “Take Me Home”, will be featured in this Sunday night’s episode, Cold Ground. Lisbeth has worked with John Williams, Hans Zimmer, John Debney and Nathan. Her beautiful voice can be heard in movies such as Munich, The Passion of the Christ and both Narnia movies, Prince Caspian and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Nathan Barr brings us the lovely score you hear in each True Blood episode. He has collaborated with Lisbeth on other projects and was assistant to Hans Zimmer for many months. His film credits include Shutter, Tortured and Hostel, as well as The Dukes of Hazard, to name a few.

In this interview, we are treated to some scoop too. Lisbeth will make a guest appearance on Jay Leno Monday night, Oct. 13, at 11:30/10:30 p.m. central. Also, Lisbeth and Nathan spill that we’ll get to hear both their dulcet tones in an upcoming True Blood episode.

To learn more about Lisbeth and Nathan, you can visit them at their respective websites. Click on the links at the end of this post. Stop on in and drop them an email, and let them both know how much you like their music!

“Take Me Home” is available now for download on iTunes. We have also added it to our Music page here. It’s a beautiful song, and I know I’ve already added it to my mp3 player.
