Ashley Jones: “They’ve Definitely Left Things Open For Me To Return”

We thought we’d seen the last of treacherous Daphne when Eggs stabbed her in “Release Me”, but in the latest issue of TV Guide, actress Ashley Jones teases the possibility that Daphne could return to True Blood. Remember the deer who looked soufully at Sam in the season finale? According to Ashley, that could be meaningful down the line: “They’ve definitely left things open for me to return. If it happens, I’m thrilled.”

So the heart that Maryann cooked up in that Hunter’s Souffle wasn’t Daphne’s? Was she able to shift into her deer form before she died, somehow saving her life? What implications does that have for Sam? So many questions!

In the meantime, Jones is keeping busy with her day job on The Bold and the Beautiful plus guest spots on ABC’s FlashForward (October 29) and CBS’s The Mentalist (Novemer 5).
