True Blood Nominated for Grammy, Satellite Awards

Everybody loves True Blood! A pair of new nominations for the show have just been announced as award season kicks into high gear.

The True Blood Soundtrack has been nominated for a Grammy in the Best Compilation Soundtrack Album For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media category. The Grammy Awards will be broadcast on CBS on Sunday, January 31, 2010.

In addition, the International Press Academy nominated True Blood: The Complete First Season in the DVD Release of a TV Show category of the Golden Satellite Awards. Anna Paquin’s movie, The Courageous Heart of Irena Sendler, was also nominated in the Motion Picture Made for Television category. The Satellites will be awarded December 20th.
