Win the Charlaine Harris Bio Comic Book!

This week we are giving away signed copies of Female Force: Charlaine Harris, the comic book biography of author Charlaine Harris. It’s part of the Female Force series published by Bluewater Productions and, really, your life story as a comic book? That’s just cool.

Charlaine Harris, whose Sookie Stackhouse series inspired True Blood, sat down with writer Kim Sherman for extensive interviews, giving us rare insight into the mind of the woman who gave us Sookie Stackhouse and Co. “Gathering first-hand information and feeling the strength that Harris exudes, both personally and professionally, immensely contributes to the originality and authenticity of this Female Force book,” said writer Sherman.

Nathaniel Ooten provided the interior art for Female Force: Charlaine Harris, while artist Patricio Carbajal provided the cover.

Female Force: Charlaine Harris will trace the writer’s career from the publication of the lighthearted Aurora Teagarden mysteries to the phenomenon of her vampire-infused Sookie Stackhouse stories.

Due for release in May, Female Force: Charlaine Harris will likely be found at your local comic book shop, retailing for $3.99. However, this book will NOT be available on Amazon, so if you’d like to insure that you get a copy, you need to visit the author’s website prior to March 22 to pre-order. If you pre-order through the author’s site, the book’s artist, Nathan Ooten, will send out a signed copy complete with an original sketch for just $10, which includes shipping and handling.

We are giving away prizes to three (3) lucky winners this week. Two (2) winners will receive a signed copy of the comic book, and one (1) winner will receive an original, signed, inked page from the book’s artist.
