By  |  2 Comments

For our True Blood News Roundup today we have a few bits and bobs to share with you. The cast and crew are all busy working on season three so they’ve not been out and about much.

If you’re going to this year’s WonderCon in San Francisco, make sure you grab your sample of the TruBlood Beverage! FMCG Manufacturing, the company that produces the beverage, will be there handing out those samples as well as coupons so you can order your own. You’ll want to pass out TruBlood to your season three premiere party guests! FMCG will be there April 2 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., April 3 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and April 4 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Beginning today, take advantage of the True Blood jewelry sale going on at True Blood Jewelry. They have some lovely pieces over there, including some new arrivals, and you can purchase yours at 25% off from now until 3 p.m. eastern on March 29th. I’ve got my eye on that beautiful chain featured on the home page!

Lafayette was chosen one of the Top 50 Gay Characters of All Time in the AfterEllen.com poll. AfterEllen asked people who their favorite TV characters were, gay or bi-sexual, and they voted! Lafayette came in at #23.

Kristin Bauer (Pam) invites everyone to view her newly updated website, KristinBauer.com. While there, check out Kristin’s beautiful art and her lovely photos by Larry Dimarzio. Note the Pam photos with her very own Eric, Abri van Straten.  Lucky girl! If you haven’t heard Abri’s music before, you really must put it on our list. He has such a soothing voice and listening to his songs is like a trip to the spa. Just sit back and relax with Abri! You can purchase his cd, Imperceptible Shift in the Light, at CDBaby.com. Don’t miss Kristin on tonight’s episode of Justified at 10/9 central on FX. Kristin tells us she had a lot of fun doing this episode.

Alexander Skarsgard teamed up with his dad, Stellan,  both lending their voices once again to the animated, 3D film, Moomins and the Comet Chase. They will provide the voices of Moominpapa and son Moomintroll, respectively. Peter Stormare will lend his voice to the character Snufkin. Bjork is composing original music for the family film along with Andrzej Rokicki. The film tells the story of Moomintroll and his fellow Moomins (hippopotamus-like trolls) as they face the threat of a comet that is predicted to destroy the village. The film is based on the stories by Tove Jansson. For more on the movie and the stories themselves, go to OriginalMoomin.com.

Over-night fan (almost literally) of the Sookie Stackhouse series since early 2008. Co-owner of True-Blood.net. Anxiously anticipating season 6.
