Halloween is just around the corner, and we know True Blood fans plan to celebrate in style. Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be sharing some ideas with you on how to throw the perfect party, where to find the right costume, and more!

The most important part of any Halloween celebration is, of course, the costumes. We have a two-part costume special to help you pin down your look. First, official True Blood items available from the HBO Shop. You’ll want to order ASAP to allow enough time for shipping.

Merlotte’s Barmaid

Whether you go blond for Sookie or red for Arlene or Jessica, you’ll need the official Merlotte’s Bar uniform: white t-shirt, black shorts, green apron. Accessorize with white sneakers for Sookie, discreet earrings for Jessica, and big earrings and a fanny pack for Arlene. Go the extra step by carrying a tray of Tru Blood and some shot glasses.

Jason Stackhouse

Jason went a little vintage this year, pairing his tight jeans with both a Renard Parish t-shirt and his Bon Temps High School t-shirt and varsity jacket. Don’t forget the cowboy boots and the belt with a big buckle!

Alcide Herveaux

This were runs hot, and he’s also not afraid of a little self-promotion. Wear the Herveaux Contracting t-shirt and baseball cap with jeans and boots, grow your beard out a bit, and get ready to howl.

Hoyt Fortenberry

This nice guy gets the baby vamp. Get cuddly with your favorite redhead in this Renard Parish t-shirt and zip-up sweatshirt. Add a goofy grin and a bouquet of flowers for your girl and you’re set.

Lafayette Reynolds

The most flamboyant of the Bon Temps crew is ripe for Halloween impersonators. Get your hookers under control with the embellished “7” tank top, studded cap, and “L” necklace. Low-slung jeans and an attitude will get you first prize in that costume contest.

Bill Compton

Perhaps the most comfortable look to sport on Halloween, pair Bill’s thermal henley shirt with dark wash jeans, boots, a leather jacket, and (fake) fangs. Be sure to practice your brooding look in the mirror so you can glamor that cute blond barmaid.
