True Blood Halloween: Tru Blood Virgin Cocktails

Or as we like to call them, Jessica’s Libation of Choice. 😉 We’re here to help with some beverages for those who love Tru Blood cocktails, but would rather keep a clearer head on their shoulders. Those teacup humans like them too! Submitted by True Blood fans, here are 10 virgin drinks sure to delight your ghoulish friends.

Top 10 Virgin Cocktails

Tru Virgin Blood-tini

Non-Alcoholic: Makes up for all the other bad things you’ve done…
makes 2 drinks

Ingredients:
Chili powder
Course Salt
1 ounce fresh lime juice
Lime wedge for rimming glasses
Ice cubes
3 ounces Tru Blood beverage
2 ounces PURE black cherry juice
1 ounce unsweetened orange juice concentrate
1/2 to 3/4 ounces agave nectar

Rim 2 martini glasses with lime wedge and then dip in mixture of equal parts chili powder and salt.

Fill cocktail shaker with ice.

Add lime juice, PURE black cherry juice, unsweetened orange juice concentrate, and agave nectar.

Shake well for 8 seconds.

Pour in Tru Blood beverage.

Shake well for another 8 seconds.

Strain into each glass.
(Optional- garnish with lime or orange slice)

Tru Screamcsicle

1 bottle of Tru Blood
2 oz of half and half
1/8 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Mix with Ice in a blender to make at tru refreshing drink

Collected from donors who have eaten only oranges and French Vanilla Ice Cream for that past 2 weeks.

Tru Awakening

6 oz of Beet Juice
1/2 oz Ginger Extract
Serve over Ice

Fairy Infusion

Fairy blood is completely irresistible, and so is this cocktail!  You won’t be able to have just one of these tart yet sweet Tru Bloody concoctions .  You’ll be compelled to order another, and another, and another…

4 oz. cranberry juice
4 oz. Tru Blood
1 oz. frozen lemonade concentrate

Prepare a frozen martini glass by dripping red gel food coloring down the interior of the glass.
Shake ingredients over ice, pour into frozen glass.

The Virgin Telepath

* Ice
* 1-1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
* 3/4 ounce orange syrup
* 1/2 ounce simple syrup
* 3/4 ounce True Blood Beverage
* 1 lime wheel

Berry me Deeply

* 6 ounces of TruBlood beverage.
* 6 frozen blueberries.
* Fresh raspberries.
* Freshly squeezed lemon juice.

* Pour the TruBlood beverage into a shaker 1/2 full with cracked ice and a hefty dash of lemon juice
* Shake, and then set the shaker aside.
* Mull a teaspoon or so of the  raspberries (smashing them) around the bowls of two frozen Martini glasses.
* Pour one tablespoon of fresh lemon juice into each glass, swirl.
* Strain your shaken TruBlood into each glass.
* Garnish each glass with three frozen blueberries

No Fangover (A bloody float)

Ingredients:
French Vanilla Ice Cream
Tru Blood Beverage
Pomegranate or cranberry drink mix
Method: In a clear glass scoop desired amount of ice cream, add a splash of pomegranate or cranberry drink mix, then pour on the Tru Blood and enjoy this blood-like float with no fangover.

Frozen Fairy Blood….

1 bag frozen mixed berries
1 bottle true blood
Splash of grenadine
Whipped cream
Cherry

Blend ice, frozen berries, true blood, and grenadine in blender. Top with whipped cream and place a cherry on top.

4 oz Tomato Juice
1/4 Teaspoon Wasabi powder
1/8 Teaspoon Sriracha Chili Sauce

Rim the Glass with Old Bay Seasoning
Garnish with a Celery Stake
