True Blood Season 4: Who Is Antonia?

This is part 5 in our series of features about the new characters coming to True Blood in season 4. We’ll be taking a look at these new characters using both information from casting calls and from the novels on which the show is based. Beware, spoilers ahead!

Who Is Antonia?

Well, here is a character that is completely unknown to us. She is described in the casting call as anywhere from 20 to 40, speaks fluent Spanish, and is “fierce”. We could speculate and say that she is someone from Jesus’s past and shows up in Bon Temps, which might make her a witch.

In the books, Bill Compton spends a considerable amount of time in Peru doing research for his data base project. Perhaps Antonia has a lot of information to offer – and maybe a little recreational activities for Bill?
