Romance can be tough sometimes, in any world, between two humans let alone between any species, living, undead, average human, shifter… there are many things to navigate to keep your partner / Master / spectre / husband / lover / pet / Mistress / wife / predator / prey happy. Here are a few tips from a gal who makes her living making up fantastical worlds chock-full of paranormal wisdom…

5. For your vampire valentine, be sure to make sure your diet is full of high fructose corn syrup right around that special time, for that very special sweet tooth. Right into your jugular.

4. For your shifter sweetie: Stretchy clothes. So thoughtful for those times when they forgot to pack another outfit after shredding the first one.

3. For your phantom paramour: ghosts are very sentimental. Play your special ghostie’s favourite song, wear their favourite scent, slow dance with that cold hand on your shoulder while wearing their favourite outfit, and they’ll haunt your heart forever. And ever. And ever. And ever.

2. For your demon dearest, split your soul into multiple small, chocolate covered horcruxes. Makes for nice fitting into those heart-shaped candy boxes.
