Katherine Helmond plays Caroline Bellefleur on True Blood

While working on a story idea, we realized that the casting for Caroline Bellefleur was never announced. That’s kind of an important role for a certain storyline, so we made some inquiries and confirmed that veteran actress Katherine Helmond will be playing the matriarch of the Bellefleur clan.

You may recognize Katherine as Mona on Who’s The Boss? or as Lois, Debra’s mom, on Everybody Loves Raymond, or countless other projects 56-year career.

And in case you’ve forgotten, Caroline is in her 70s, Caucasian, formidable, refined, and beautifully dressed. She’s Portia and Andy’s grandmother, dislikes vampires, but “warms to Bill’s charm”. We’ll first see her in episode 4.04.
