Getting to Know Paola Turbay

US Magazine recently met with True Blood’s Paola Turbay, who is playing Antonia in season 4. They provide bits of information about her including the little that she could reveal about the show. “The only thing I can say is that she’s a witch from the 17th century, so she’s around creating terrible situations. Her presence is really going to put the show on fire.”

Paola first auditioned for the part of a woman who had a small scene with Eric, but the part ultimately went to someone else when the scheduling wouldn’t work. “They called me [a second time]. I went in the next day to read for [creator] Alan Ball and the casting director, and three hours later it was mine.”
