Birthday Present for Kristin Bauer Van Straten

The folks at TrueBloodFanSource.com have come up with a great idea to celebrate Kristin Bauer Van Straten’s birthday, which falls on Nov. 26th. Kristin has been a strong ambassador for The Amanda Foundation as well as animal preservation worldwide. Her fight against animal cruelty is one that she takes very seriously and if you follow Kristin on Twitter, you’ll find she is a determined force, often joined by “The Vampire Diaries’ ” Ian Somerhalder in her efforts.

The Amanda Foundation is an animal rescue organization who have been leaders in placing cats and dogs in permanent homes. It’s expensive to rescue and rehab these lovelies though, and this is where you come in.
