Anna Paquin Looks Stunning in Italian Vogue
Anna Paquin graces the pages of this month’s Italian Vogue, looking absolutely stunning. Photographer Tom Munro captured a dreamy quality in her and her environment that I love. I have no idea what the text of the article says, however. Any Italian speakers want to help us out with a translation?

“Cinema gave me a lot. Everything. It took away my childhood. ‘The Piano’ is a very beautiful memory but it’s not the most beautiful of my childhood. I don’t speak of love.”PHOTO 2
A good relationship with the body
“It doesn’t embarrass me to be nude on the set, it’s the most natural thing in the world. There are always the things in life that we do nude, so to hide it does nothing other than increase the curiosity of those watching. When I observe myself, I have to like myself. It’s true that today at 29 years old it’s easy; who knows how I’ll think of it at 59!”PHOTO 3

Never without Pilates. My body? It’s nude
“I am a woman, so there’s a lot of criticism towards my body, at times not supporting it, other times it makes me smile. I must admit that I like my small eyes and my smile.”On the set of “True Blood” you’re often nude: is it embarrassing?
“No, being nude is the most natural thing in the world. There are many things in life that we do nude; for me it’s more strange to cover the breasts with odd positions than to do it so you see them in a natural way. Hiding it doesn’t do anything other than increase the curiosity of those watching.”So you love your body?
“It’s a question of vanity, when I look at myself I have to like me. It’s easy to say it today at 29 years, who knows how I’ll think of it at 59! Since I spend lots of time on the set dressed in little or nothing, it’s obvious that I have to at least keep myself in shape. I like to do physical activities, or rather I adore doing anything that makes me sweat: Pilates every day, boxing and skipping, Hot 8 Yoga in The Bar Method style, that is, practiced in rooms heated to 40 degrees. We say that once the initial moment of crisis is passed, it’s done. I keep going so I don’t collapse.”And food?
“I pay attention to what I eat but I don’t follow a particular diet.”Do you use perfume?
“Yes, I like it. My husband gave me Red Roses by Jo Malone, but I also don’t mind smelling of soap.”
