CASTING NEWS: Peter Mensah Joins True Blood Season 5 {spoilers}

Spartacus star Peter Mensah is joining the cast of True Blood season 5, Deadline reports. He’ll play Kibwe, who we meet in episode 5.02, “Authority Always Wins”.

Kibwe is a vampire who originally hails from Africa and now serves as Chancellor for the Authority. He believes in rehabilitation for prisoners over stricter punishment, although we don’t know which prisoners that description is referring to just yet.

Deadline also includes this piece of information in their report: “Kibwe works toward mainstreaming under Roman’s tenure.” So Roman is the current head of the Authority. Do we finally have a clue about who Christopher Meloni is playing?
