Kelly Overton Checks In on “Beauty and the Beast”

TV Guide is reporting that True Blood’s Kelly Overton is heading to The CW’s new series, Beauty and the Beast, 
premiering this fall. Kelly will guest star as Claire, who becomes involved with medical examiner Evan (Max Brown), after meeting online. Kelly’s character first appears in the fourth episode and may be a recurring role.
Kelly played Alcide’s love interest, Rikki, in season 5. This does not mean that Rikki won’t be back for season 6 on True Blood. In fact, we have not heard one way or the other, but we’ll keep you updated. See you there, Kelly!
Beauty and the Beast premieres Thursday, Oct. 11, at 9/8c.
